So, about two weeks ago I started watching The Crown on Netflix, and I got hooked with the story.
It’s basically the story of the royal family, not just the Queen, and every story revolves around how the actions of each royal family can affect the crown.

- You can’t go out to eat – if you were the type of person that used to go out and just eat junk food then use this time to start preparing your own food. This is a great way to start eating healthy.
- Use video games to move more – you have more time at home now and you probably have video games too, so why not use it to move more. Play games like Move Fitness where you have to get up and move.
- Use your time wisely – you’re probably working remotely, then why don’t use that time to do things you couldn’t do when you had to physically go to work. Like start intermittent fasting or do a quick 10-minute exercise routine over lunch.
- Start a 30-day challenge – being at home can help you create better habits and a good way to do that is by doing a challenge. Like not eating processed food or sugar for a month, it’s a great way to kick start your weight loss.
Being in the pandemic doesn’t have to all bad, you can actually take advantage of it and come out feeling better about yourself.

7) Things I Disagree With
Subject line: 3 things I do that most keto coaches would disagree with
I’ve seen a lot of keto coaches come out of thin air here in Puerto Rico, and it got me thinking. A lot of what they teach as the holy grail of nutrition I’ve never done and, to be honest, it’s plain stupid.
Honestly, it’s gotten to a point that what they say now is like “TRUTH” but I disagree with it and I’m gonna share a few with you.
1) I eat fruit and lots of it
A lot of keto coaches will tell you that eating fruit is bad for you, I’m not making that up.
Because of the carbs and sugar.
So, if you eat it it’s gonna make you fat.
That’s just dumb.
One thing I do is try to eat two pieces of fruit a day.
Doesn’t matter what fruit.
Just eat two pieces of fruit a day.
This is something I do, but the keto police would throw me in jail if they could.
2) I do intermittent fasting the simple way
I like to do fasting, but I do it the easy way.
Meaning that I don’t intermittent fast for 3 or 5 days straight like most keto coaches recommend.
That’s just too much and really unnecessary.
You don’t even have to fast every day if you don’t want to.
Just fast for 16 hours a day or a few days a week.
That’s all you need.
3) I don’t demonize carbs, in fact, I love carbs
If you’re in Facebook groups, you’ve probably seen those posts about the dangers of carbs.
Because carbs are the devil, they say.
It’s bad for you and it can kill you, but that’s not true.
Let me just say it: carbs are good and yummy.
This is what I do, I eat carbs but the right carbs.
There are two types of carbs:
The whole carbs are more unprocessed and contain the fiber found naturally in food, and they process the refined ones and don’t have the natural fiber in the food.
But I wouldn’t consider all carbs bad, as the keto coaches say.
Just eat more of the whole carbs than the refined ones.
There you go.
Those are the 3 things I do that most keto coaches would disagree with.
You don’t need to cut out an entire food group just to lose weight, you can eat carbs and still be healthy and burn fat.
